Backsaws I Have Made
			The blade on this backsaw is 12" long by 3" tall, including the 3/4" brass back.  The blued spring steel is .020" thick.  The handle is made out of bucote.  I cut 10 teeth per inch filed in a rip pattern.  I used a blue Somax saw set at the lowest setting to set the teeth.  This setting resulted in very little set.  Despite minimal set, the saw cuts fast and the cut surface is surprisingly smooth. Above the saw are practice dovetails I cut with the saw.
