Milling Strips
For ripping strips, I use a zero clearance throat plate, a micro splitter and two Board Buddies.
The combination helps to keep the strips tight to the fence and reduces the likelihood of
kickback.  I used a Freud Diablo 7 1/4" blade.  The blade has a very thin kerf allowing me to
get an extra few strips compared to thicker kerf blades.
I ripped about 100 strips of western red cedar, cypress and redwood.
