Buck tail and Flashabou

5mm to 8mm doll eyes
Using a sharp knife or single edge razor blade, slice off a
strip of foam.  Cut smaller pieces approximately 1/2 the
length of the hook shank.  Rough shape the body with the
knife or razor blade then fine tune the body with coarse
sandpaper or an emory board.  The shape is up to you as
any shape will catch fish.
Wrap thread onto the hook shank in the area of the body.
The thread helps prevent the body from rolling.  Cut a
groove along the bottom of the body so that it will fit onto the
hook shank.  Use plenty of Household Goop to cover the
entire bottom of the body.
After allowing the glue to dry, tie in buck tail and
Flashabou.  Doll eyes are added last.  Use Goop to
attatch the eyes.
A length of metal tubing can be used to cut round plugs
from the sandal.
Notice the wide gap hook on the bass version.
