My wife took a few
pictures of me and my
friend, Rick, kayaking
in the surf. Really, the
waves were larger than
they appear in the
photos. I estimate the
waves averaged 3-4'.
Punching through the
surf wasn't a problem.
Getting back to the
beach through the
breakers was another
story. In the top
photo, I'm in my Outer
Island. In the other 4
photos, Rick is in his
Guillemot.
