| Stripping the Deck, Part 2 |
I worked a few hours each night over the next two weeks to finish the deck.
| The last strips on each side of the deck required fitting strips with a curve along one side. To help cut the strip, I first made a tracing of the opening. |
| I glued the tracing to a strip with spray adhesive. I used my bandsaw to cut the strip slightly outside the line. A block plane was used to fine tune the fit. |
| The fit was tighter than expected. |
| Strapping tape was used to hold the strip in place while the glue dried. |
