| After using chalk line to mark a straight line down center of strong back, vertical supports for the forms are attached at each form location. The plans call for an additional station between station 10 and 11. |
Starting with form 9, a level is used to level station 9 with the strong back chalk line. Once level, the form is attached to the vertical supports with screws. |

| A ruler is used to measure the rocker/height of each form relative to the string line. |

| A string line that just touches form 9 is run the length of the strong back. The string line is used to set the rocker/height of the forms. |

| After form 2 and 16 are mounted, they are removed and the bow and stern is screwed to the form. Note in the picture that the bow (and stern) has part of the form removed and reattached. After tapering the internal stem piece, it is stapled back to the form. Tape has been added to the joint so that the internal stem piece is not glued to the form. |
