| 08/17/02 started milling strips. I used a Freud Diablo 7 1/4" blade with an approx. 1/16-3/32" kerf. |
I used the Lee Valley Tools canoe router bits to mill the bead and cove. |

| I milled strips to various widths so as to minimize waste. The cypress strips are about 3/4" wide, the western red cedar 3/8" and 3/4" wide and the Spanish cedar for the deck about 7/8" wide. |

| Prior to milling the bead and cove, I ran the strips through the planer to get strips of a consistent thickness. |
